My tasks
Different toolkits of the innovative and creative practices were developed by the organization and their communities. In order to achieve a wieder accessibility the forms of the practices were various, conferences, drawings, workshops, lectures, webinars, audio recordings and posters. I had the pleasure of creating four posters, doing a graphic recording as well as a live poster design with the purpose of reaching out to other migrant-led organizations and media platforms.

Decolonizing the Newsroom
Around 60 people from different parts of the world gathered in Madrid to be part of the Decolonizing the Newsroom event coordinated by ZEMOS98 and Conciencia Afro, the two partners organizations of Re:framing Migrants in the European Media. The event took place over four days from July 5 to 8 2022.

My tasks
I created the key visuals, posters, timetables and social media templates for Decolonizing The Newsroom. During the conference in Madrid, my team and I constructed a test for newsrooms to find out if they are reporting accurately about migrant issues. I designed the test. I also had the pleasure of doing a graphic recording of the final presentations, where all teams showed their results.
